LAUNDERING MONEY
(отмывание денег) Операции с деньгами, заработанными незаконным путем (воровством, торговлей наркотиками и т.п.), с тем, чтобы создать впечатление, что они появились из легальных источников. Для этого часто незаконно полученные деньги вкладываются в иностранный банк, а затем эквивалент вклада переводится в банк, имеющий хорошую репутацию и расположенный в стране с твердой валютой.
